IN 2012, SIBLINGS JUNE AND OWEN HOLLOWAY BOUGHT A 1970S CAMPER TRAILER WITH ONE RULE: COOK ONLY WITH WHAT CENTRAL TEXAS FARMS COULD BRING THAT WEEK.
THE TRAILER FOUND A LINE ON ITS FIRST WEEKEND, AND THE LINE NEVER LEFT. THE RESTAURANT OPENED FOUR YEARS LATER WITH THE SAME RULE ON THE WALL.

INGREDIENTS FROM LOCAL AUSTIN FARMS
June started with one farm stand and a weekly box of whatever was ripe, and built the menu around it — the same three farms still deliver on Tuesdays.
Much of that has changed today due in part to HOLLOW FIG’s mission.

LARGE PARTIES ARE ACCOMMODATED BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:30 AND 6:00 PM, OR 8:00 PM. FOR PARTIES OF SEVEN OR MORE, PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM.

Dinner service begins at 4:30 pm daily. Our final seating is at 9:00 pm Sunday – Wednesday and 9:30 pm Thursday – Saturday. No takeout service is currently offered.
PARKING
Hollow Fig has a small free lot behind the building. Street parking is along the block south of us.
RESERVATIONS FOR 7 OR MORE
Large parties are accommodated between the hours of 4:30 and 6:00 PM, or 8:00 PM. For parties of seven or more, please fill out the form. You will receive an email response within 24-48 hours of submission.
