About
Millbrook Provisions opened in 2019 in a former hardware store on Central Avenue. Every loaf is naturally leavened, the flour comes from Minnesota-grown wheat and rye, and the pastry is laminated with cultured butter over two days.
We bake one day’s worth at a time and sell what is left at half price after 3pm—nothing sits overnight.

History
The building sold nails and paint for fifty years. The old wooden counter is still where you order, the paint shelves now hold cooling loaves, and the back stockroom became the bakehouse, with a three-deck oven that takes 120 loaves a load. Most mornings the first rack comes out at 6:40 and goes straight to the front shelves.

Farm Box & Growers
Sourcing
From June through October we pack a Saturday farm box: vegetables from growers within sixty miles, a dozen eggs, a country loaf, and whatever the pastry bench made extra that morning. Order by Wednesday noon; pick up at the counter between 8am and noon.
