A Timber Lodge at the Fall River Entrance
Ridgehollow Lodge is a 36-room timber lodge on Fall River Road in Estes Park, Colorado, a mile and a half below the Fall River Entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Rooms sit in two log wings and six creekside cabins; eleven cedar soaking tubs on the back deck are fired every afternoon from 4 p.m. From June to September our guides lead morning hikes from the front porch, and from December to March they fit snowshoes at the same door. Denver International Airport is about two hours east by car. Check-in 4 p.m., checkout 11 a.m.
Elk cross the lower meadow most October mornings; the trail starts at the porch

Eight Acres of Ponderosa
The lodge sits on eight acres of ponderosa pine and open meadow along the Fall River, at 7,700 feet. The front porch faces the Mummy Range; the back deck, with its eleven cedar tubs, faces the creek.

One Stove Per Room
Every lodge room and cabin has a cast-iron wood stove, a king or two queen beds, and a window on the meadow or the ridge. Split pine is stacked by each door.
Guided From The Front Door
Our four trail guides lead a morning hike every day from June to September, from a two-mile creek loop to a full-day climb above treeline. From December to March the same guides fit snowshoes at the door and take out groups of eight or fewer. Poles, packs and a trail lunch are included; park entry is paid at the gate.
