(02) WHAT AN AUSTIN WEBSITE NEEDS

(6)

Six things we build an Austin site around, before any style.

What it needsWhy it matters here
A first screen that answers “open now, and where?”Whatever you run, a café, a clinic or a repair service, a visitor on a phone checks your hours, where you are or the area you serve, and how to call or book through the link you already use. We put the details you confirm there. Visitors made up 45% of Austin restaurant spending in 2025; that is city data, not a count of your site’s visitors.
Hours, address and a directions link at the topOut-of-town guests do not know the street. One tap should open the map.
Menu or services with prices, as real textText can be read on any phone, translated by the browser and read by search engines and screen readers. Image tools can sometimes read a photo of a menu, but not reliably, so the menu and prices go in text too.
Changed hours and closures, stated at the topHours shift in the busiest weeks and on holidays. A dated notice beats a line of hours that is no longer true.
Spanish pages, by prior agreementAustin has Spanish-speaking residents, but the languages your business can support come first. If Spanish is needed, we agree who translates and checks the text, the cost and the page count before work begins.
Reviews linked to where they were leftWith 3,270 restaurants and bars in Travis County, visitors compare. A link to your Google reviews lets them check for themselves.

Before you decide. Your domain stays registered in your name. On the monthly plan, cancel by email any time: we take the site down and help you point your domain elsewhere. On the one-time option, you receive your website files at launch. After launch, new pages or design and layout changes are agreed in writing, with scope and cost, before work begins, and a content editor is optional, with the editable areas agreed before work begins. (03) THE CLOSEST CONCEPT SITES

Fictional names, licensed photos. Every one opens as a working site.

Hollow Fig, Bluebell Cottage and Rowanline are fictional Austin businesses, built as working concept sites with licensed photos.

(04) HOW IT GOES

(4)

Preview first. The full site next. Then you decide.

  1. 01 · PREVIEWOnce you tell us you’re interested, we build a limited first draft from what is already public — your photos, menus or rooms, hours, services and reviews — and send you a link, with the price and date for the full site. Looking is free.
  2. 02 · BUILDNo form and no reply needed. Your concept email sets out the pages, photos, price and date in writing; we build the full site from it.
  3. 03 · REFINEAfter confirming your material and scope, we aim to send the full website about seven days from the preview email. The actual delivery date is stated in that email. Five revision rounds inside the scope in your concept email, all on the same live link.
  4. 04 · LAUNCHPay only if you want it live: $79 a month or $1,290 once plus $200 a year for hosting. Paying starts your plan; we launch on a free address like yourbusiness.arupix.com. Your own domain is optional, any time later.

(05) QUESTIONS AUSTIN OWNERS ASK

(5)

Plain answers. More on the FAQ page ↗

(01)Do you work with businesses in Austin?

Yes. We work remotely, by email, with small businesses across the US, including Austin. We have no office in Austin, so there are no in-person meetings. The preview, the changes and the launch all happen by email.

(02)Can my site be in English and Spanish?

English pages, yes. Spanish is agreed separately before work begins: we confirm who translates and checks the text, the cost, and how each language page counts toward the five-page scope. Each agreed language version has its own address, title and description.

(03)Will my site show up when people search in Austin?

Every build includes the basics search engines read: page titles and descriptions, your address, hours and map link matching your Google listing, and a sitemap. Rankings depend on more than the site, so we do not promise a position.

(04)Is hosting included, and what happens to my current website?

Hosting comes with the website we build: it is part of the US$79 a month on the monthly plan, and US$200 a year on the one-time option. It is not sold as a separate hosting-only plan. Tell us which current website, domain and email you want to keep and what needs to move, and the included work is confirmed in writing before you pay.

(05)Is the preview really free?

Yes. We email a free, limited homepage preview with the proposed pages, price and delivery date in writing. Once your material and the scope are confirmed, we aim to send the full website about seven days after the preview email. You only pay if you choose to launch it.
