(01) WHAT A RESTAURANT SITE HAS TO DO

(5)

Five jobs, before any style. The preview is judged against these.

Opening a restaurant? Start with the business details, menu and prices you have confirmed, photographs you can use, and the way guests should contact you. Mark a provisional opening date clearly. Read the opening-soon answer and planning checklist before requesting a preview; the scope and delivery date are agreed in writing, not assumed to match opening day. Opening soon: what can we prepare now? · Website planning checklist

  1. (01)Menus and prices as text on the page, with a PDF only as an extra
  2. (02)Hours that match your Google listing
  3. (03)The dining room as the first picture
  4. (04)Reservation and order links that go where you already take them
  5. (05)A call button a thumb can reach

Before you decide. Your domain stays registered in your name. On the monthly plan, cancel by email any time: we take the site down and help you point your domain elsewhere. On the one-time option, you receive your website files at launch. After launch, new pages or design and layout changes are agreed in writing, with scope and cost, before work begins, and a content editor is optional, with the editable areas agreed before work begins. Concept analysis: Bluebell Cottage. The brief we set ourselves: a guest on a phone wants to know, before walking over, whether the café is open, what is served at that hour and roughly what it costs. Bluebell Cottage is a fictional business, so the brief is ours, not a client’s.

What we chose: (1) the hours as text near the top, “Open seven days a week, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m.”; (2) each menu labelled with its own service hours, such as the bakery 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and dinner Tuesday to Sunday 5:00 – 10:00 p.m., with prices written as text; (3) reservations left to a booking service through a “Book online ↗” link in the header (a placeholder in this concept), rather than a form on the site.

What we checked, on October 8, 2026: the three items above are present as text and links in the published concept page. That is a check of the page itself, not a usability study; a fictional café has no visitors or sales to report, and its demo links do not send requests or confirm bookings. Menus on your site. The dishes and prices you confirm go on the page as text, and a PDF can be linked as an extra download if you want one. Checking menu and allergen details stays with your restaurant.

(03) HOW IT GOES

(4)

Preview first. The full site next. Then you decide.

  1. 01 · PREVIEWOnce you tell us you’re interested, we build a limited first draft from what is already public — your photos, menus or rooms, hours, services and reviews — and send you a link, with the price and date for the full site. Looking is free.
  2. 02 · BUILDNo form and no reply needed. Your concept email sets out the pages, photos, price and date in writing; we build the full site from it.
  3. 03 · REFINEAfter confirming your material and scope, we aim to send the full website about seven days from the preview email. The actual delivery date is stated in that email. Five revision rounds inside the scope in your concept email, all on the same live link.
  4. 04 · LAUNCHPay only if you want it live: $79 a month or $1,290 once plus $200 a year for hosting. Paying starts your plan; we launch on a free address like yourbusiness.arupix.com. Your own domain is optional, any time later.

(04) QUESTIONS OWNERS ASK

(7)

Plain answers. More on the FAQ page ↗

(01)How much does a website from Arupix cost?

Choose $79/month with hosting and no setup fee, or $1,490 for the first year ($1,290 build + $200 hosting), then $200/year hosting. Both include up to 5 pages and five revision rounds before launch. Review the finished site before paying.

(02)Is the preview really free?

Yes. We email a free, limited homepage preview with the proposed pages, price and delivery date in writing. Once your material and the scope are confirmed, we aim to send the full website about seven days after the preview email. You only pay if you choose to launch it.

(03)Do you use AI-generated images?

No. We use your photos first. Where photos are missing, we use licensed stock and identify it in your preview email. You can ask us to replace it with your own photos.

(04)How long does it take to launch?

After confirming your material and scope, we aim to send the full website about seven days from the preview email. The actual delivery date is stated in that email. If you choose to pay, we launch it within one business day on a free Arupix address. You review revisions on the same link.

(05)Can the menu and allergen notes be text instead of a PDF?

Yes. Dishes, prices and any allergen or dietary notes you confirm go on the page as text, so guests can read them on a phone and search engines can read them too. We only publish allergen details you have checked.

(06)Can guests book a table or order online from the site?

We add buttons that open the reservation or ordering service you already use. That service and your restaurant confirm bookings and take payment; the website itself does not confirm reservations or process orders.

(07)We are opening soon and the menu and photos are not final. Can we start?

Yes. Send what is settled: the business name you will use, the opening date if it is confirmed (or that it is still provisional), your hours, the menu and prices you have decided, photos you have the right to use, and where guests should contact you or book. Anything not yet settled is left out or marked as not yet confirmed, and nothing goes live until you have checked it. The pages and the date for the full site are agreed in writing once the material and scope are confirmed; we do not promise a launch on your opening day. The website planning checklist lists what to prepare.

(06) OTHER KINDS OF BUSINESS

The same line builds for six kinds of business.

See what your website could be.

Tell us your business name. We’ll email a free homepage preview, then the finished site. You decide whether to launch.
